Keeper Solutions attend Money 20/20 Europe 2023:The Recap
Keeper Solutions had the pleasure of accompanying the Georgia US delegation at Money 20/20 in Amsterdam, the largest global fintech event in Europe. Keeper Solutions, along with four other Georgia companies operating in the Fintech space in Atlanta, were hosted by Metro Atlanta Chamber and Fintech Atlanta at stand c62 for the 3-day event.
Money 20/20 brings the global Fintech ecosystem together, providing networking opportunities, education, and inspiration with some of the biggest names in the industry sharing their insights and opinions over a series of panel discussions and interviews.
Over the 3 days, Many themes were discussed and their impact on the financial landscape. One focal point of the conference was financial inclusion, levering technology to provide access to financial services for underbanked and underserved populations. The speakers discussed the role of mobile banking, fintech partnerships, and innovative payment solutions to financially empower people worldwide.
Keeper representatives Stephen Walsh, CEO, and Head of Marketing Emma Wilson managed to catch some compelling talks with industry leaders. One discussion, in particular, was with Ian Stuart, CEO of HSBC, one of the largest banking and financial services institutions in the world, which discussed the future of banking, customer experience, investment priorities, AI, and the relationship between traditional banking and innovative fintech companies. Interestingly, Ian highlighted that traditional banking needs Fintech companies to partner with in order to deliver customer expectations in an ever-evolving digital world. He suggested that what fintech companies can deliver in 4 months traditional banking could take up to 4 years, so it makes sense to partner with Fintech companies. In his discussion, Ian gave his opinion on emerging technology such as AI and its role in the financial industry and beyond
“Let the tech do the ordinary and let people do the extraordinary”,
leaving the audience with food for thought.
Money 20/20 hosts a plethora of companies from all over the world, some established brands, scaling companies, and start-ups. Keeper was thrilled to be one of the 6 Enterprise Ireland client companies exhibiting at the event and one of 27 Irish companies in attendance. Irish Minister Dr. Jennifer Carroll MacNeill TD, Minister of State at the Department of Finance visited the stand to discuss Keeper’s business journey, their US expansion, and experience in the Fintech sector.
The conference highlighted the immense potential of technology to transform the financial industry and the sheer impact of innovation on the world we live in. Stephen and Emma were delighted with the many connection made, inspiration and knowledge gained from attending Money 20/20 Europe.
